Most of the big names in technology village are racing to create smart glasses. It is intended to replace smartphones to accompany us wherever we go.

Virtual reality glasses have been popular for the past few years, but smart glasses are the goal many major technology companies are targeting.

According to CNBC, Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Snap, Facebook Apple, Magic Leap and many other tech giants are working on developing smart glasses or headsets that help people change the way they see the world.

Instead of taking out your phone to chat or interact with people or using applications, people can use words or eyes to perform these operations with smart glasses.

CNBC believes that the challenge lies in being the first to produce stylish, lightweight, and suitable glasses that anyone can take with them all day, anywhere.

Currently, Microsoft is developing advanced virtual reality devices. Its HoloLens 2 glasses were launched last month. A modified version of it is also being tested by the military to help soldiers improve their combat capabilities.

In civil applications, HoloLens 2 helps to display computer programs at eye level, helping us not to sit on the computer too long to work. However, this glass is still quite bulky and costs up to $ 3,500.

Similar to HoloLens 2, the Magic Leap glass set launched in August 2018 was considered quite heavy, with a high price of $ 2,295. This headset allows users to play games, watch TV and videos in virtual reality while still seeing the real world.

In addition, Snap's Spectacles 3 was launched this week for $ 380. Spectacles 3 allows users to take photos, record videos and edit them. However, photo editing information is not directly displayed and controlled on the glass, but still through the Snapchat app.

All of these devices are incomplete and improving them requires a lot of costs. However, experts say technology companies do not give up on their development plans.
