Street Fighter, Capcom's most successful fighting game brand, is launching a major event, hosted by Ambrasia Multimedia.
Ambrasia Multimedia, a digital content creation company has just announced Street Fighter V event: Road to Tokyo Asia Invitational 2019, a tournament licensed by Capcom, attended by six countries and territories including Hong Kong , Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam.
From now until August 2, domestic players will play online to decide which team will represent their region. On August 30, teams will continue to fight to win three places in the final list.

The Street Fighter V: Road to Tokyo Asia Invitational 2019 will take place at Tokyo Game Show from September 12-15. The three finalists will be covered with all expenses to go to Tokyo to play.
Minsoo Kim, CEO of Ambrasia Multimedia, said it was a great opportunity for gamers to represent their country and region. Street Fighter fans can be proud of this and dream of representing the country (or regions) in the future.

Ambrasia Multimedia will also produce a documentary, about the journey of Street Fighter V players competing during the event.
Besides, Capcom is not only the developer and publisher of Street Fighter franchise, but also runs Capcom Pro Tour - a ranking currently taking place in Street Fighter V. Players will compete titles throughout the year to qualify for Capcom Cup at the end of the year.
