Russian engineers developed and tested the Neuromobile smart car for people with disabilities. According to TASS, engineers at Nizhny Novgorod National University named N.I.Lobachevsky developed a prototype of the Neuromobile smart car. It is for people with disabilities with neural technology and monitoring driver status.

According to experts, people with disabilities will be able to control a compact car equipped with this augmented reality system with a multimodal neuron controller. The University's deputy director of research, Augustus Lee, explained that engineers are developing a special outfit for disabled drivers. Thanks to the help of many different sensors, not only the brain activity and eye movements, but also the actions of the legs, arms and even the tongue. There will be a special joystick that can be developed for this outfit. Sensors above the driver's head will take into account changes in the electrical activity characteristics of the brain.
Developers are confident that noron technology will dominate the market. Neuromobile smart cars have been licensed and will be sold in 2022.
