Recently, Gearbox confirmed the status of Borderlands 3 on Twitter and thanked everyone who contributed to the completion of this game.
Currently, Borderlands 3 is in its final stages before its release. Any changes or additions made from now until the release date will be released as patches or updates after the game launches.

Borderlands 3 takes place immediately after the events of both Tales from the Borderlands and Borderlands 2: Lilith and Fight for Sanctuary Commander. The game launches with four new Vault Hunters that players can choose from - including Zane, Amara, Moze and FL4K. Everyone has some unique designed skills that have never been seen in any of the previous Borderlands titles.

Zane can sacrifice some items to be equipped with two different active skills at the same time.

Amara's ability to master elements allows her to mix and match all Siren's skills that appear before her. While Moze can change his active skills by using different weapons and armor.

Scheduled to debut on September 13 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC, Borderlands 3 has exclusive agreements for a limited time with Epic Games Store. After the deal is complete, the game will switch to other PC platforms like Steam. Borderlands 3 will also be released on Google Stadia when this cloud-based streaming service launches. Although this game does not support multi-platform play on launch. Gearbox still "committed" will turn it into reality in the near future.
