Called "Scrum Force", the system has a total value of up to 1.38 billion yen including: 4 robots with different tasks.
In it: "Sky eye" has the task of monitoring and monitoring aerial, "Land eye" underground monitoring, "Tough reeler" deploying tubes, fire hoses, and "Water canon" is responsible for spraying fire water.
Scrum Force is researched and manufactured by the Department of Fire, Fire and Disaster Response (FDMA). It was built after a series of fires that occurred in petrochemical complexes at Ichihara in March 2011, in a disastrous earthquake in northeastern Japan. At that time, firefighters were unable to reach fires due to high temperatures.
As expected, FDMA will deploy similar fire-fighting robot systems to industrial parks across the country.
