It seems that now, game publishers have found a worthy alternative, not being completely dependent on Steam as before.
Add a sad news for the Steam gaming community. According to the latest announcement from Ubisoft, their highly anticipated shooting game Ghost Recon: Breakpoint will only be released on 2 Uplay and Epic Games Store platforms.

Throughout the length of the game, the Ghost Recon squad will have to fight against a paramilitary group called Wolves, which according to Ubisoft's representative, Wolves possesses a strong battlefield skill comparable to Ghost Recon. Because the force of assessment is too crowded and too strong, the detective Ghost Recon will switch from fighting to hiding, so the Stealth Action mechanism will be focused on this part of Ubisoft.

Thus, with the abandonment of Steam, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint will follow many other famous names such as Metro: Exodus, Detroit: Being Human or World War Z. It seems that now, game publishers have found an alternative address worthy of not being completely dependent on Steam as before.
