Gigabyte output takes new SSDs with read speeds of up to 3,480 MB / s.
First released at the Consumer Electronics Show in January. To date, these new SSDs have been added to the sales portfolio and promise to reach consumers worldwide soon.
These SSDs will be released under the Aorus brand, supporting PCIe 3.0 x4 ports, providing faster read and write speeds than SATA-based SSDs.

In terms of memory, there will be two SSD versions with capacities of 512 GB and 1 TB respectively. Both are judged to bring incredible read speeds, up to 3,480 MB / sec.
Here are the specifications of the model 1 TB SSD:
- Sequential read speed: 3,480 MB / s
- Sequential writing speed: 3,080 MB / s
- 4K random reading speed: 610,000 IOPS
- 4K random write speed: 530,000 IOPS
- Durability: 1,600 TBW
And this is the spec on the 512GB sample:
- Sequential read speed: 3,480 MB / s
- Sequential writing speed: 2,100 MB / s
- 4K random reading speed: 360,000 IOPS
- 4K random write speed: 512,000 IOPS
- Durability: 800 TBW

Gygabyte clearly shows the product's goal is to target gamers as gamers. By using AIC, both RGB lighting and design on heat sinks.
Another advantage of this SSD series is its heat dissipation performance. According to the manufacturer, these SSDs are designed with heat sinks on both sides to keep the temperature just around 50 degrees Celsius during work.
