When you browse in incognito mode, there are some notes you should keep in mind to avoid undue mistakes
1. You do not become anonymous in the online environment
Anonymous browsing mode only helps you keep your online activities secret from the people who use the computer next to you. You can still be monitored while in incognito mode, not to mention that your Internet Service Provider (ISP) always has a way to "know" what you are doing.

2. The files you download remain on your computer or phone
All files you've downloaded while in incognito mode are stored on your device even if you have finished browsing the web. Although they may not show up in the browser's Download section, it's still somewhere on your computer and this completely disables the use of incognito mode. So, make sure you hide, encrypt, or permanently delete them before leaving your computer or phone if you want to be secure.

3. You can not get out of supervision
Your browsing history may not be recorded in incognito mode, but your Internet Protocol (IP) address is an exception. This means that your digital activities in incognito mode can be tracked through a service or device set up to track IP addresses.

4. Technical flaws can make browsing unpopular
Any software that may have a vulnerability, web browser is no exception. Recently, researcher Ashish Singh discovered a flaw in InPrivate browsing on the Microsoft Edge browser. Accordingly, Singh has discovered that browsing history data can easily be recovered from WebCache (cache) files stored on the user's hard drive. This shows that anonymous browsing is not as secure as we think and you should be careful when using it.
Incognito mode is one of the ways you feel secure because it's basically safe. However, it is only safe when you understand what it can and can not do to have a fair use. If you want to improve your privacy, switch to a VPN service. However, it also can not guarantee absolute anonymity on the web.
